If you are in Munich, be sure to visit Marienplatz, where the town hall, completed in 1905, is located. The panoramic view from its lookout tower is breathtaking and besides, there is also another Munich landmark, namely the “Frauenkirche” or also called “Frauendom”. Its two characteristic towers measure just under 100 metres and you can expect a panoramic view of Munich from 16 windows.
